Coming to the doctor can be difficult. We
provide a confidential service to all our patients including under 16s.
This means that you can tell others about your visit but we wont. The
only reason we may have to consider passing on confidential information
without your permission would be to protect you or someone else from
very serious harm. We would always try and discuss this with you first.
We are happy to see young people both with and without their parents,
when appropriate. There are many misconceptions about whether consultations are
confidential and also whether you can talk about various sensitive
issues with the GP. You might like to have a look at the following

Minor Casualties - can be seen and dealt with at the surgery (workload
dependant), more serious problems will be seen at Queen Alexandra,
Cosham or St. Richards, Chichester
Sexual Health matters - You can see us at the surgery or go to the Ella
Gordon Unit or the family planning clinic in Havant.
Drugs or Alcohol Problems - You can see us at the surgery for more
general advice.
